Moving Right Along
lThere is actually alot of meaning to that title....our family has been "moving right along" since the last post, the Ws are growing like weeds, have started new schools, I have started a new job and unfortunately it is approaching the one year anniversary of Dad leaving this place. I quoted this song by the Muppets at his funeral service. No matter what mess life threw him, he was able to keep "moving right along" (with dignity and grace at its best). Yes, life has been a bit stressful over the last few months to say the least! I am now teaching MDO in the infant room at a local church. The great thing about it is that the boys go with me. The bad thing is that Snuggle Bug isnt adjusting so well:( He is across the hall from me which makes for some rough times. In addition to adjustments for lil w, he is now learning to manage life with a cast. Yes, in all his boyish fashion, he plunged off the bed and broke his right arm a week ago. We have two weeks left in the cast and he is taking it like a champ! The cast is however red...Roll Tide!!!! and the doc says his days on the field in T-town will not be affecting when he plays for Bama;) I am going to leave you with some pics to sum up the rest of our happenings....that is assuming they will load being that the laptop is on the brink (the other reason for the long delay)

"That's Our Big Church"

Since Dad's passing in October, we have found warmth, friendship, strenght, peace and faith and mainly support and love from Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church. When I drive Wiggle Worm to school each week, we pass VHUMC and W proudly announces "that's our big church". Well after yesterday, we can proudly say that it is officially our church home. This Palm Sunday was especially nice because we joined VHUMC and are now official members:) We look forward to many wonderful times shared there as a family and congregation!

Sprucing up for Spring
I dont usually do "design" post, but I was happy how these two little projects turned out yesterday (so I thought I would share):) I was feeling creative and thrifty when I woke up yesterday, so I pulled a few projects together from things around the house. I had purchased a rod for a new curtain in the kitchen window a while ago, so I decided to try to tackle making my own curtains. I dont sew, but I used some no-sew bonding tape and thought these turned out quite nicely.....

They still need a little work, but a yard of fabric and some imagination went a long way!for a "non-sewer".
My second project was a door decoration for Easter. I had found these two small egg wreaths in the "Dollar Days" section of Target and decided I could put the two together to make a little arrangement. I gathered up toole from w's party and went to work. Here is the outcome......

Zoo Trip

We had a fun Sunday spending time at the zoo. They have made alot of progress with the new Africa addition and the boys were able to "meet" one of the new elephants. This was Snuggle Bugs second trip and he really enjoyed checking everything out. Wiggle Worm's current favorites are the monkeys. We are now officially zoo "members" so hopefully we will make weekly trips as the weather warms up!
