Who Let the Dogs Out?!

This weekend was Samford's Homecoming. We enjoyed having Josie and Gresham come and stay the weekend with us and Leah and Elliott to come down for the day. We went to campus for the parade, Worthy's first meal in the "Caf", to visit the ADPi house and to of course take pics with Mr. Beeson. This was especially important b/c it was the first ones with Worthy in them. I have pics from my days at SU as well as on my wedding day. The tradition continues. Thanks for coming into town Leah and Jos...I miss you all so much! Oh....we got to see Lins Sat night for chilli and some AL action...good to see you too Lins!

F is for Football, Fall, Festivals, Firsts and a lot of Fun!

Here are some pics from the last few weeks. We are really enjoying the fall! Worthy has more firsts as well. He climbed up the steps at Emmie and Poppy's today. He also is pulling up and holding on to everything. He has a funny new face he makes (as seen in the photos) and he squinches up his nose....it is too cute!!! Emmie also taught him how to raise his hands when you say Roll Tide! That is what he is doing in his bed with the Big Al t' on. We went to the fall festival at Mt. Laurel today. We had a great time and the weather was perfect. Can't wait to dress up Worthy in his Halloween costumes and make pics with the scarecrows at Aldridge Gardens...stay tuned for those. Moos at the Zoo

Just got back from what has become our Thursday trips to the zoo. This week we visited the Children's Zoo, which is basically a petting farm. We also took the wagon so that Claire didnt have to do so much walking. It was a nice day, but still so hot for "fall". We thought we would see cows or "moo" but they were not there today. We saw goats, sheep and geese. We also visited the primates, ate some lunch and rode the carousel. These are some of my fav pics from the trip. The kids were worn out to say the least.

We are having a fun week hanging out at home. Our air has been down, so it got a bit hot yesterday and we got out of the house for a bit. I took the kids to a consignment sale. We left with just a few items...but good ones at that. Our biggest find was a stuffed horse for $7.00. It is almost as big as Claire and definitely larger than Worthy.....I couldn't resist. We made a day of "tricking out" or "pimping" the horsey. We stopped off at the Dollar Tree and Claire picked out a blanket, comb & brush and hair accessories. It turned out priceless. Enjoy the pics! We also made sugar cookies today. Worthy participated this time and it didn't take him long to figure out how to take a taste. Before I knew it, his finger was in the dough and he had already taken a bite. Excuse the pink on the baker's hat on Worthy, but it was too cute to not get some of him in it too.
