A Chilly yet Successfull Photo Shoot

On a blistery winter, I mean November afternoon, we decided to head out
for a quick photo shoot. It seemed like a good idea getting a jump
start on Christmas cards (although still not mailed out). Little did I
know, as soon as I loaded up the boys, the rain would start. Determined
to go anyways (and a very excited 3 year old in the back seat), we
continued on our way. We had to sit in the car until the rain stopped
and the boys had damp hair, but in return, I got one of my best shots
of the boys so far. The new header is our Christmas card pic (like I
said, I stillhaven't mailed them) and the boys had a blast playing
around the creek! We found the perfect spot out in Helena and my little
red chair purchase worked out perfect too:) These were taken about a
month and a half ago...hope you enjoy the photo shoot as much as we
did!!!

Snuggle Bug Meets the Jolly Ol' Elf

Lil w met Santa for the first time at the Bass Pro Shop. He never cried
but he really checked him out. W loved every minute of sitting in his
lap.Apparently W wants cowboys for Christmas. This was new to me until
I overheard him telling Santa. Hopefully we will visit Santa again and
get the boys pics together.

This Christmas

I anticipate it being a very different and difficult Christmas and holiday season this year. Im not much in the mood for getting alot
of decorations and extras out this year but I still want to keep it
special for the boys. We are keeping things simple this year with our
tree, stockings and nativity scene. Wiggle Worm got a Play Mobile
nativity scene for St. Nick last year and so we put it out for the boys
to play with. Baby Jesus is occasionally visited by pirates, skeletons,
vikings and various other characters, but none the less, he is learning
a bit about the Savior as well. Hope as you prepare your hearts for the
advent season, you learn more about our Saviour as well

In Memory

I have neglected to post in a while because it has been a hard thing for me to do. I lost one of the most important people in my life on October 23rd. Since Dad was one of my reasons for writing this blog, it has been hard to return to it without him here. This post is dedicated to him. These are just a few words that describe him. DAD COUNSELOR FIGHTER ROLE MODEL AUTHOR HARD WORKER PATIENT KIND SELFLESS EXAMPLE LEADER FRIEND POPPY ..........our lives are forever changed without him here, but it is my hope that we will follow his lead and make this world a more positive place as he did.
